This blog is brought to you by Laura L Alton. It is a mixture of my writing, and dog life. I will be blogging on my journey to becoming a bestselling writer, mixing updates with interesting animal behavior facts and a dash of dog training thrown in for fun.

I am the author of the Kayla Ann Dailee Mysteries series. The first book, which should be out in the next few moths, is being published by Fireside Mysteries an imprint of Cyberwizard Productions (http://cyberwizardproductions.com). The second book in the series is written, the third is half written, and the fourth is being outlined. I also plan to publish a dog-training book, and have started outlining a Sci-Fi book. You will hear more about them in future blogs. I enjoy writing. I hope you’ll enjoy reading what I’ve written.

When I am not writing, I spend time with my dogs. I currently compete in AKC obedience and confirmation with my Canaan Dog, Jetta. You will hear more about that too, in future blogs.

I also enjoy animal behavior facts. This blog will be peppered with tidbits about monkeys, cats, mice, and various other animals whose behavior I find interesting. For example, I’ll tell you why a dog barks at the mailman, why cats rub their faces on door jams, or how to decode monkey body langue.

When the weather is nice, I can also be found hiking or working in my garden. So there will also be a few gardening reports and tips.
